To introduce students to SimaPro and teach the methodological details as standardized in the ISO 14040/14044 LCA methodology.

This in-depth introductory course teaches the basics of life cycle assessment. This course is suitable for people entering the field of LCA and looking to become LCA practitioners. You will become familiar with the SimaPro software and the ISO methodology behind it. Class size is limited so that you may receive personalized guidance and training from your instructor, a well experienced LCA/SimaPro professional.

All classes are two days long. Regularly scheduled classes are held in Burlington, VT, Portsmouth, NH and Seattle, WA unless otherwise indicated on our website. Private training/consulting may be set up for an additional fee. Please contact us for a quote (price depending on location and number of attendees) and to set up a time. If you would like to take the class but do not have access to the software, we will provide you with a temporary license. During the class you will receive a print-out of the presentation slides, which you can use for note taking during the class, and a training manual that you can use for reference. These prove to be a great help when conducting your future LCA’s.
